Amsterdam Data Science

Amsterdam Data Science (ADS) is a network organisation of academic and industry
partners. ADS exists to connect academia, industry and society in a diverse Data Science and AI
ecosystem in the Amsterdam region where collaboration, innovation and engagement are key to
the network. ADS is an initiative of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS/HvA),
Centrum Wiskunde Informatica (CWI), University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Vrije Universiteit
Amsterdam (VU).
 
ADS is the single point of access for academia, industry and society to the
Amsterdam's internationally recognized research expertise in Data Science and AI fields, and a
growing, highly-educated talent pool. ADS is the first point of contact for those who want to get
involved or develop their personal network in these fields.

Meetups
ADS events are a key method of providing a platform for the ecosystem to participate,
collaborate and innovate. These events vary in size from 30 to over 500 attendees, providing a
relaxed setting for those in the network to meet like-minded people and share knowledge and
experiences. All our events are in English and attendance is free but please sign up in advance
through our Meetup page.

Career Fair
Every year ADS organises a Career Fair to bring students in contact with organisations
in different fields including a wide range from startups to corporates. The Career Fair is
called ADS presents TECH020 and is organised in collaboration with the Amsterdam knowledge
institutes.
