Purpose of the Job
The work is centered on the management of multi-asset portfolios, encompassing both liquid and illiquid investment funds. You will provide support to various teams including Equities, Fixed Income, Private Equity, and Absolute Return, among others. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse array of responsibilities within the realm of investment portfolio management, encompassing both listed and unlisted investments. You will have the chance to learn from highly experienced investment professionals with outstanding track records. As part of a dynamic, youthful, multicultural, and expanding team, you will contribute to the team's growth and success.
In your capacity as a working student for the Investment & Strategy Research team (ISR), you will assist the investment analysts for a minimum of two days per week. Your work will involve conducting investment-related analyses across a broad spectrum of investment classes and strategies, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the investment landscape.
Key Responsibilities
As part of ‘business as usual support’ and ad hoc support, the working student will work on specific subjects:

Equity and Fixed Income related investment analysis: developing and maintaining (quantitative) tools to gain more insights into the portfolio.

Monitoring liquidity and transaction covenants, insuring continuous liquidity availability, recommending forex transactions in direction and size across both liquid and illiquid funds.

Data control and analysis of risk exposures, inventorying and analysis of underlying investments of the listed and non-listed investment portfolios.

Support in monitoring and assessment of portfolios along Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) attributes and metrics.

Experience and Skills

You are nearing the completion of your Bachelor's degree or are currently pursuing your Master's.

You possess a collaborative spirit, are proactive, and have a drive for excellence.

You demonstrate a keen interest in the financial markets and the field of investment management.

You have a strong inclination towards data analytics, including the design and implementation of analytical tools.

Proficiency in VBA, PowerBI, and/or Python will be considered a valuable asset.

English is required, and Dutch is a plus.
